Patch Adams...

Hi! Today, I need talk you about a movie that I enjoy, and I choosed a really special and affecting movie: Patch Adams. I saw this movie when I was a kid, at 10. I remember that I saw this movie in my grandmother's house, because we always meet in her bedroom to see movies in VHS. This film was directed by Tom Shadyac in 1998.
This film tells the story of a depressive man that learn how to help the world: with the laught. Patch Adams entered to study Medicine and faced many problems with classmates and The Dean, but ever trying to help the people using the medicine of laughter. The main actors in this film are Robin Williams and Monica Potter. This film is a comedy-drama that shows on one hand the hard times that can lead to distrust anyone in the world, and secondly it shows that even in the worst moments one can draw a smile, because each person has an impact over another.
I really enjoy this film because I think that is important recognize that all we are humans and nothing  more, no matter if you have a medical degree, nursing or just butcher; I believe that each person has a way to influence another and give her a good day; but there are also people who do not want to admit distrust of others.
Finally, I love his last speech, because he give us to understand that the people who we think that aren't important could be really the best in the world.

Liniers... a great guy

Today, I have  to write a free post, and after that much reflexion, I decided talk you about the creation of a great guy: Ricardo Siri, better known like "Liniers". He is an argentinian cartoonist that draw his comic called "Macanudo". I really like this comic, because is a mixture between the deep thinking of a person and the inocence of the comic... many times, this comic makes me think about the meaning of the life, about the simple that could be the world, and about how the better things in the life are forget.

I want to show you some examples of this comic, and then I like write some reflexions about it.

This image shows us how the life could be understand like a constant movement between good moments and hard experiences, but understanding also that this situation isn't a hex put on the humanity, but a way to make the life funny. I think that is true the thing that say this penguin, because the life (the sea) could be boring if it hasn't some problems (tribulations, storms), and this is a reason by don't see the problems like a torture, but a reason to enjoy.

I think that this picture is a reflection of that many people wait... that just one person that wake up and see how the real world could be. I think that many people live their lifes like if they are sleeping: the people don't worry if their acts are good or bad, just follow a model that say us what to do, when and where do it and even wich who person... but if one person, just one person could wake up, he could make the difference in our lifes. Maybe the world isn't perfect, but is a great progress try to understand it.

This is the last picture that I want to show you, and it is a special picture by me. I think that this picture is the reflection of that I think about all the people: each one is a mystery, even if you are loking him near or if you are far away. I think that the people is more mysterious than they want to see, because many people want to be "simples"; the people search how to be reduced, the people search how just follow a model and how forget the nobility of to be theirselves... maybe one day, all the people understand that the biggest honor for a person is to be oneselve...

Human thinking...

One of the things that I think is interesting is the Human Thinking. Some years ago, I saw that many friends did things that I don't understand, and many of them fought because they had different thinking about how the world is... In that moment, I started to question myself why the people fight and discuss for all the topics, and I understood that definitely all the people are different.
I decided study psychology because I wanted to understand the different thinking and action of the people, and in this university I understand a few of how the people think... but the problem was that even the explications of it depends of the way of thinking of the person that teach me this topics. For example, isn't the same the way to think for a Psychoanalyst or to a Humanist, but both having their own theory about how the people think... so, I learned about how the people think in the same time that I learn many different ways to understand it.
I have a really complicated relationship with this topic, because I love try to understand the people and try to know how they do it; but also I am so frustrating because I can't understand all the complexity of it. I know that probably I never arrive to a definitely answer to the question ¿how the people think? but I feel that it is a question that is part of my life, is a style of life and I decided live it... It has many advantages like the constant search of a explanation, with the possible personal grown that it imply; but It also has many disadvantages like the constant anxiety to not find the answer, or the many mental confusion that it imply.
An example of the complex and different of the human thinking is the point of view of the characters of "batman: the dark night". I love this film because show that the characters fight for their own thinking: Batman for a thinking of protect and confidence of the world, The Joker with the thinking that all the world could be burned and corrupt, Harvey "two faces" with the thinking that the people aren't fair and that the only fair is the luck, and finally Gordon that think that the people could do the correct, but only if the conditions of the environment permit it.

I know that this topic is one of the most complexes because include all that the people do, and that this question has many different names like "religions, ideology, paradigm, etc", but the bottom is the same: "try to understand ourselves..."

My last birthday...

I believe that my last birthday was something special. These day, I had a test in the subject "Psychology of the Development II", and after that, I agreed gather with a friend to lunch together. Before that, some friends called me and took me to "Portal Nuñoa". In this place, we play pool during an hour, making jokes and laughing all the time. Next, They took me to "Dunkin Donuts" where they buy me a donut like it was a birthday cake, while they sang me the "happy birthday" ... even the seller of donuts sang me the happy birthday!.
At 14:00 I meet with my friend to launch. We went to "Newen vegetariano" (I am not a vegetarian, but I went to share a moment with her); the food was delicious! I never had think that the vegetarian food could be so tasty. After that, My friend and me went to eat an ice cream to Portal Nuñoa... we talk during 2 hours more, when other friend called to me by a cell phone and told me that he wanted see me, but that he had to go out of the university. I told him that I was going to the university and that they should wait for me, but he told me that he wouldn't... Is these moment I was sad because I wanted see my friend.
After that, I leave my friend in the university because she had something to do. When we came into the university, a lot of friends jumped over me and hug me, even the friend that told me that he went away of the university... all was planning to surprise me, even the lunch and the phone call!
I shared all the afternoon with them, playing the guitar and drinking beer... They are great persons! When I got to my house, other friend was waiting for me. We ate cake and talk much time...
I think that this day was so special because I never had think that my friends gave me this surprise, and many friends to different places sharing with me these special day... this day was so great!

Nicolás "Kun" Martínez....

I want to tell you about a great friend: Nicolás Martínez... He is a friend that lives early of my house and a person who accompanies to me in many situations of my life. We meet to play table tennis or soccer... even, He challenges me in a match in the play station to demonstrate who is the better in this activity.
I knew him in a chapel where both work. I remember that this day we went to the chapel to put a tent in the garden of the chapel. The first time, I thought that he was a vain person, but with the time I understand that he just was a man with a special sense of humour. Before that this first time, we shared some moments in different situations like meetings, soccer match and birthday parties... even, I helped to him to win over a friend with who he is today in a relationship.
I think that we have many things in common: Both are fanatic to Colo-Colo, a soccer team that we support and encourage all the weekends. Also, we practice some sports like soccer, table tennis or drink beer... Ok, the last isn't a sport, but we enjoy doing it!
I see him regularly, almost all the weekends. We meet to do any sport or to go to a party and drink some of alcohol... Sometimes, we meet to watch Colo-Colo soccer match by the TV and encourage or suffer, it depends to the scoreboard.

In the last time, he changes his surname, because the last surname remembers to him his absent father. Now, He has the surname of his stepfather: "Martínez". A freak datum is that he put him the nickname "Kun" because he admires to a soccer player: Sergio Kun Aguero. Today, he has many team shirts with this nickname in the back: "Nico Kun".

Manuel Rodríguez... Son of the Rebellion

Well, this week I need talk you about the greatest Chilean of all time, and I think that the best character in the History of Chile is Manuel Rodríguez.
Manuel Rodríguez was a lawyer in the time of the Independence of Chile, in the century XIX. He fought against the Spaniards who get the control of Chile. Manuel Rodríguez saw that the situation wasn't the better and he decided became in a guerrilla, meeting with bandits and poor people to make a revolution...
He don't fought just against the Spaniards, but also against some Chileans that don't like how he could fought with bandits... even, he had to fight against the General Captain Bernardo O'Higgins, who gave the order to kill him when Manuel was carried to a jail (under the charge of treason).
I think that his deeds was important because with him the people knew how fight for their freedom, and also because he help in different combats in all the country, even bound with the working-class. In addition to it, he got much information cheating Spaniards, using his great intelligence... all this with the help of his friends: Carrera brothers.
If I met Manuel Rodríguez, I ask to him what is the real reason from the hate between him and O’Higgins, because the both sharing a really bad relation, fighting the both against the Spaniards and against themselves.

Finally, I think that Manuel Rodríguez is an example from the popular power... A power that isn't bound to a particular political party, but an ideology of Freedom and Justice...

Fiestas Patrias...

Well, I need tell you about Fiestas Patrias... I celebrate Fiestas Patrias with my family, almost always in the church's inn. My family and I participate in this inn all night; but in the day, we join with uncles, grandparents and cousins to share a great lunch, or to make a great roast...
The past year, we did the same; we went to the church's inn and we dance all night, drinking "terremoto" and dancing "cueca"... even I won a cueca's championship that was in the inn.
The best Fiestas Patrias that I remember was when I had 14... I went to a inn in Parque O'Higgins with my grandmother, my uncle my cousin and my brother... we ate breaded and we dance cueca... it was a great day! I think that this day was so good because I was with my family, the people that saw how I grew... I love them and I feel that all moments with them are great....
I think that many activities of Fiestas Patrias are very funny, like rayuela or the greasy pole... I think these activities are a great reflex of our customs... I like the Cueca, because is a dance with romance, flirting and play... all that I need...
About the Chilean rodeo, I think that is an activity that was a sport in the past, but that today is inconceivable because it causes much unnecessary suffering to a defenseless animal...
I really love the Chilean customs, but I think that in this time the people could understand that some things are unnecessary to preserve the culture... and I love the Chilean culture
