Hi! Today, I need talk you about a movie that I enjoy, and I choosed a really special and affecting movie: Patch Adams. I saw this movie when I was a kid, at 10. I remember that I saw this movie in my grandmother's house, because we always meet in her bedroom to see movies in VHS. This film was directed by Tom Shadyac in 1998.
This film tells the story of a depressive man that learn how to help the world: with the laught. Patch Adams entered to study Medicine and faced many problems with classmates and The Dean, but ever trying to help the people using the medicine of laughter. The main actors in this film are Robin Williams and Monica Potter. This film is a comedy-drama that shows on one hand the hard times that can lead to distrust anyone in the world, and secondly it shows that even in the worst moments one can draw a smile, because each person has an impact over another.
I really enjoy this film because I think that is important recognize that all we are humans and nothing more, no matter if you have a medical degree, nursing or just butcher; I believe that each person has a way to influence another and give her a good day; but there are also people who do not want to admit distrust of others.
Finally, I love his last speech, because he give us to understand that the people who we think that aren't important could be really the best in the world.
